Do something that matters :)

So here comes my hippie rant... it is great and lovely to be passionate about hot topics like the Kony 2012 movement but this passion makes no difference if you are just reposting on social media sites and having a chat to your friends about it.. the whole point of activism is to be ACTIVE so if you think something is shit about the world DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!! Here are two organisations I donate monthly to- WWF (environmental)http://wwf.org.au/ and Amnesty International (humanitarian)https://support.amnesty.org.au/thankyou.php it is so easy to set up and you can choose how much to donate $50, $20, $2... it all helps! If you legit have no room in your budget you can still contribute!! Write letters and emails to politicians, and keep doing it until they take notice! Parents encourage your children to be active- my mum started donating to the wilderness society in my name when I was little and it is a great lesson to teach your kids :) Value your power to vote!!! Take interest in politics because a huge chunk of your income (tax) is being managed by politicians... Greenie rant over.
