Sheryl Crow melts into the red carpet in this gorgeous ombre white gown drenched in red feathers.

Dianne Kruger wears an etherial romantic gown for this red carpet debut.

And then switches to a jaw dropping metallic gown for another appearance.

Eva Longoria rocked an amazing embellished gown, and although she wore it with confidence- a taller woman would have done this gown justice.

Hallelujah... Her Highness Erin Wasson the bohemian princess of hotness delivers a knockout look after a bevvy of fashion fails of late.

It is a little late but I'm here to announce my favourite outfit of the logies...

My absolute favourite Aussie actress Asher Keddy stepped out in a neon and white lace gown by my favourite haute couture duo- J' Aton.

Girls who are boys, who like boys when they're girls...

Its a girl thing.

In recent times Miss Universe candidate Jenna Talackova was disqualified from competition on the grounds that she was not born a female. Yep Jenna is transgender and underwent hormone therapy at the age of 14 and full gender reassignment at 19 in order to become a woman...

Her story is quite interesting but why on earth should this matter in a beauty pageant? If anything being born a man would be a disadvantage going up against people who were born female!

And to get into the nitty gritty semiotics of it all- technically Jenna was only physically born a man- mentally, emotionally and spiritually she has always been female!

This gets me thinking... how do I know I am female? I was blessed (and cursed at the same time) with a bohemian upbringing (my mother a hippie, my father a hipster) and so was dressed in shorts, played with gender non specific toys and was treated like a baby human not a baby girl by my parents...

So why did I cry and stamp my feet in longing for a barbie to play with? Why did I so desperately want long hair? This was because I knew who I was- I was a girl, I saw a team of 50% of the population and knew it was where I belonged. This was NOT because I was born with certain genitalia- this was NOT because society told me I should like these things, it was simply because that is who I am and who I wanted to be.

I can't imagine how devastating it would be to be born a female mismatched with a male body-feel like a girl but be treated like a boy... So good on Jenna for having the courage to fix the physical mistake mother nature made!

She looks like a beautiful woman to me! Annnnd to be honest I think I'm a decent looking female (I have managed to bag myself the hottest loveliest boyfriend on earth) but Jenna would whoop me in the beautiful woman stakes anyday!

Donald Trump is the man behind the contest who booted Jenna for being transgender... and just for kicks- does anyone else think Jenna and Trump's daughter Ivanka could be long lost twin sisters?
